At the beginning of year 2013, there were some news flying around that Polaroid would launch a new camera in partnership with Socialmatic earlier this year, so that the product carried the name of the two companies. Furthermore, it would be manufactured keeping and eye on account details of Instagram app. It turns out that Polaroid took the CES 2014 to announce that the Polaroid Socialmatic will actually be launched - the plans are that the product will be offered from the last quarter of this year. Although the logo might seem like a retro design, the gadget also features a 14 megapixel camera (and a 2 MP front for selfies) with a Touch screen of 4.5 inches and runs on the Android system. Thus, with WiFi connection, you can share your photos on your favorite social networks without requiring a PC or smartphone.
Taking into account the filters of Instagram, the camera will also include image editing options - however, we do not know if they are the same resources used in the Instagram application. And, due to the Zero Ink Printing Technology, you can print 2 by 3 inches photos instantly.
For now, this information was only available by Polaroid itself, so that there is no provision of price and not a specific target date for the launch. However, keep an eye on news to get these freshly baked information!
