K9 Mail is perhaps the most familiar Email client app for android.POP3 and IMAP is available with K9, whilst users can access their various email accounts such as yahoo account etc. A search function to locate Emails is also provided as well as Push Email and there seems to be no problems when using push email on various free Email providers. And lastly there is a search function incorporated into the app which can locate Emails.
2. Maildroid
This free Email App can read POP3 and IMAP emails and has Push Mail incorporated into the app. Various free Email providers like Yahoo, GMX, Hotmail, AOL and Gmail are supported by Maildroid, it also allows users access to as many accounts as they want. Received Emails with attachments can be saved directly onto your SD card.

3. Profimail Email Client
I hope you are not unfamiliar with the “Lonely Cat Games”. Profimail is an android product from this great developer group. The Profimail Email Client will not leave users wanting as it includes most features that other Email apps have on this list. POP3, IMAP, push – it has everything you need on board whilst also coming with a well-functioning IMAP synchronization. The app even has its own address book and is also able to open zip files. But the optics of the Profimail Email Client is still in need of improvement.

5. Improved Email
The Improved Email app is less a standalone Email app, but rather a drilled version of the standard Android Email client. 6. Exchange for Android 2.x
If you have Android 2.0 and up and looking for Exchange client specifically then its the best option. Apart from email, it can sync calendar, contacts and tasks also. It also supports some Enterprise Mobile Device Management systems like Sybase Afaria, AirSync and FiberLink.
