Control UAC And Make It More User Friendly : Creating Shortcuts For Administrative Mode

UAC is clearly a great security and privacy fundamental base in Windows OS. It prevent unwanted access in system files or any other places where user can harm your System. This provides a great option for keeping things well and secret. But sometime good things in certain circumstances will not be suitable for use, like UAC prompts. It's really troubled when you often need to run a particular tool that requires administrator mode in order to run, and you don’t have the access or you are getting trouble to get in Administrator mode. It will constantly pop up a dialog requesting for Administrative password when you are trying to make system changes. Fortunately, there’s some way to make it more comfortable. There’s a hack that can create an Administrative shortcut mode which won’t prompt for UAC. Here, I am going to share this with you. Well, there are mainly two things you need to do. Firstly, you need to set up a scheduled task to run the application in Administrator mode. Then set up a separate shortcut that tells the scheduled task to run. Do you think it’s difficult? I am sure you will find it easy after reading this. So join me after the break!

Pidgin , An Open Source Cross-Platform Chat Client You Should Try

A few popular features are Buddy Pounces, which give the ability to notify you, send a message, play a sound, or run a program when a specific buddy goes away, signs online, or returns from idle; and plugins, consisting of text replacement, a buddy ticker, extended message notification, and iconify on away. ShapeShifter For Windows : A Cool And Light Replacement For Windows Clipboard

The clipboard acts as a temporary storage location for data that is copied to it by a computer user. The standard Windows Clipboard can only store one entry, which gets overwritten every time new data is copied. That makes some operations, where multiple sets of data need to be copied more complex than necessary. So have you ever faced this problem that you have to copy two, three (or more that) files/data from different place and Windows clipboard only stored one? So you have to copy it one by one. It has already killed a lot of my times. So I was agar for a replacement of this. But none of them looks great on my eye. It’s either to heavy to run often or it’s very dull in performance. And if everything is set, then it looks awfully boring to use. So I haven’t choose any of them.

But yesterday I came to know about ShapeShifter. ShapeShifter is a lightweight Windows Clipboard replacement that comes with a few extras that not all alternative clipboard managers offer. So I have decided to make a review and cover up this great app.

1st of all, I just want to say two things I like most about this app. One is, it’s really lightweight, even you can neglect it’s system resource use. And the other is it’s User Interface and Ease Of Use. The User Interface is so nice and cute! And it’s designed greatly so that the user don’t have do any extra steps. So this is a must app you should try.

The launcher comes with its very own theme store, ten slick home screen transitions and a zippy, efficient home screen editing interface, clock & weather widget, all of this will remind you one of MIUI’s native launcher. The default theme isn’t really cool, but users can change that easily according to their tastes, from its big own theme storage. What users can’t fix is the launcher’s drop in performance while within the app drawer. But yet, you can try this new free Android homescreen replacement. So join us after the break.

The fact that you don’t need USB cables or a Bluetooth configuration to operate its features, albeit, not earth shattering innovation-it’s still pretty impressive. The app is really simple to use and accessing your device is no different and no more complicated than opening your e-mail in a browser.
