All-Windows-Phone-To-Receive-Windows-Phone-7-Update---What-About-Android-&-iPhone-[Smartphone-Battle]Just a few hours ago today, Microsoft announces Windows Phone 7.5 Mango updates for Dell Venue Pro via Zune. So now in smart-phone market, the battle between Windows Phone, Android and iPhone is getting more closer. Though Microsoft haven’t officially confirmed that they are pushing Mango updates for all Windows Phone but this marks a significant approach of their goal announced back in October 2011, to deliver updates to 100% of eligible device. They haven't announced it yet, but today’s update really puts a mark on that wish list and also make a question on Google’s “No Android Updates” rule. So what should be the best smartphone OS to go for? Let’s have a quick look.

All Windows Phone To Receive Windows Phone 7 Update - What About Android & iPhone [Smartphone Battle]

Recently, all three giant smartphone OS (Three, because Symbian is just lost) have been updated. Android receives 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, iPhone got 5 and Windows Phone got 7.5 Mango. So, what should be the point? Recent month's, Android have been dominating though I think this will get low as they have missed one point (one big point) – Cross Device Updates. Most Android device’s are not getting any upgrades from 2.2 or 2.3. Although a few devices have got Ice Cream Sandwich, but there’s no official sign that each one of the eligible device can receive updates while iPhone and Windows Phone are miles ahead with solution for this issue.

So from my opinion, if you have enough budget and going to buy one smartphone within a few days, then go for iPhone or at least Windows Mobile. Let’s see what Google’s planning to answer this threat.

That’s my opinion, nothing else. What do you think? Share here.
