Samsung announced that it will begin mass production of its newest eight-core chip, the Exynos 5 Octa, created from the ARM architecture. According to the manufacturer, the processor will begin to production lines between April and June this year, which could mean more devices may be on the way to come to the market with this new processor.

The agency that handles the registration of patents and trademarks in the U.S. today issued a further request from the offices of Apple. The new record of Apple's patent provides a system for inductive charging of the battery through the iPad Smart Covers. For this, however, these cases would still have an integrated battery to transfer power to the tablet when needed. Thus, the Smart Cover does not just protect the device, it would also serve as a kind of auxiliary battery for the tablet, increasing the time taken away from charger.

According to a news report by the NASA, the Mars Curiosity found evidence that, in the distant past, the planet may have provided conditions for the existence of life, more specifically to the survival of microorganisms. The conclusion came after analysis of a sample obtained by drilling a rock in an area known as Yellowknife Bay.
