Within 15 days of releasing Firefox 6 stable version, Mozilla have yet again updates it’s stable channel. Yes, it’s now version 7. The only visible update I can see in this version is, the “http://” prefix before URL is now hidden. Another new release without any real changes which is been somehow disappointing. Release notes and download links inside.
Changes:
- Drastically improved memory handling for certain use cases
- Added a new rendering backend to speed up Canvas operations on Windows systems
