Unlike the traditional format (While tabs positioned at the top of the screen), with this extension they become vertical and displayed on left side of the application. Side Tabs stands out for proposing a different way of displaying the tabs open, however, it fails in a big point. Firefox-9-Final-For-Android-Lands-To-Market-With-Desktop-Sync,-Save-As-PDF-And-MoreThe most popular internet browser for PC, Mozilla Firefox had landed to Android browser field quite a few times ago. But to be honest, I didn’t like the Mobile version of Firefox with previous releases. It was slow, buggy and also not to interactive. Mozilla kept their fan waited for long to have a quality release but seems like it’s now paid of. Just by the end of 2011, Mozilla updated Firefox Mobile which is truly a brilliant edition to Mozilla’s showcase.  It is much faster than it’s Beta version. It also offers the user a wide list of search engines to choice. However, it still lacks of various important options and features that should include in the upcoming versions. The user does not have the option of shortcuts, icons or a cool UI - as we see in Opera Mini or Dolphin Browser, yet a mark that Mozilla is working hard on it. Details to follow.

FireGestures Adds Mouse Gestures Navigation On Firefox [Add-On]

FireGestures Adds Mouse Gestures Navigation On Firefox [Add-On] (5)

Previously we have covered a Google Chrome extension called Smooth Gestures which adds cool navigation via mouse gesture in Chrome. There are some similar add-ons for Firefox whose will offer missing gesture navigation on Firefox too. One of them are FireGestures. FireGestures is an extension for Firefox that does all that and more. The extension lets you customize mouse gesture for any predefined function. It allows you to change how a mouse gesture appears (the line color, thickness, idle time etc.) and define specific functions using a combination of the Ctrl, Shift and Alt keys with mouse movements. The slight flaw with it is that if it reaches the last tab in a window, it starts again from the first and you can scroll till doomsday without realizing you’ve already reached the last tab but it is nonetheless a great way to switch tabs.
