Desktop Plagiarism Checker is a desktop client of Plagiarism.Net. To start using this application, you will first need to sign up for a free account from the previous link or from it’s homepage.
Then start the application, navigate to Help > Authorize and put your sign up info – then click on OK to authorize your account.
Now just paste the content on one of the two tabs here you want to check. Otherwise you can also use any text file (Supported Formats: txt, doc, rtf, htm, pdf or odt). Then click on Check Duplicate Content.
The result then will be displayed in a new window. Result will include number of total matches, Query of the test, links to the matched source, chartered details of the content and originality of pasted content.
Desktop Plagiarism Checker supports more then 190 languages and allows you to search for duplicated contents via Google, Bing and Yahoo search and also on on Google Scholar and Google Books. Desktop Plagiarism Checker works on Windows 7, Windows XP and Windows Vista.
