Apparently, LG is going to Barcelona on the MWC-2013 (Mobile World Congress) with a lot of surprises to unveil. The company will take advantage of the Mobile World Congress to show the market the new Optimus L II. The announcement of the Optimus G Pro, Optimus L3 II, Optimus L5 II and Optimus L7 II happened previous week and they should be displayed during the MWC starting from 25th February. The gadgets have different settings to reach different audiences, and the intention is to meet market entry, intermediate and advanced. In its announcement, LG highlights the evolution of the design of devices that have built their carcasses into unique pieces, laser cut, in addition to bringing home button with a soft LED lighting.
LG did not unveiled many details about the configuration of all devices, however, we know that the Optimus L3 II hits the market with 3.2 inch screen at QVGA resolution (320x240 pixels), and 1540 mAh battery. Since the Optimus L5 II should have a 4-inch screen and 1700 mAh battery.
For those who want to buy Optimus L7 II, LG has announced its configuration, which are a little more robust to meet the intermediary public. It will come with dual-core Qualcomm processor (MSM8225) at 1 GHz, 768 MB RAM, 4 GB of internal space, 4.3 inch screen and resolution of 800x480 pixels (with IPS technology) and 8 MP rear camera and VGA front camera.
Moreover, the gadget will have 2460 mAh battery and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. For those who have more than one SIM, this device will offer dual SIM feature.
The biggest bet is on the LG Optimus G Pro, made to clash with the Galaxy S3. In addition to a design that resembles the device from Samsung, LG also whims in it’s hardware. The device hits the market in black and white colors, with Full HD display of 5.5 inches and only a thin border on the sides, making it not much bigger than the screen size. Furthermore, LG also confirmed that it’s back has finished bent glass in a bright pattern similar to Nexus 4.
The rumors about the specification about Optimus G Pro suggests that it has quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor at 1.7 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB of internal storage (with the possibility of expansion via micro SD card), rear camera of 13 megapixels and battery of 3,140 mAh. It runs Android 4.1 on custom system by LG.
