A year after the introduction of series of smartphones with L-Style design, the LG revamped models and presented the second generation of the series in MWC-2013 : L3 II, L5 II and L7 II, all aimed for anyone who is not willing to spend much or have a family size gadget, like the Optimus Pro G. The devices received minor visual changes, such as a rear-textured and the possibility of being sold in a dual-SIM version. The L5 II and L7 II also have a LED bar below the Home button that flashes when there are notifications or battery is near the end.

Nokia Launches Lumia 520: World's Cheapest Windows Phone 8 Smartphone [News]

After dozens of rumors involving the possible releases of Nokia Lumia series, the Finnish company took the MWC-2013 to end the rumors and launched the Lumia 520, which comes to the market with the title of world’s cheapest smartphone powered by Windows Phone 8 to compete with large appliances marks. The suggested retail price of the handset is €139 (about 184 USD), excluding local taxes and import duties. The gadget has hardware capabilities that surprises for its price: dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor at 1 GHz, 5 MP camera on the back, 512 MB RAM and 8 GB of internal memory (expandable via microSD cards up to 64 GB).

Nokia Releases Maps Apps For All Phones With Windows Phone 8 [News]

It is undeniable that Nokia has invested heavily to make Windows Phone to succeed. One proof of this is the number of apps exclusive to the devices of Lumia series launched by Nokia, which bring several features that users would like to enjoy. ASUS Announces New Infinity PadFone with 5 Inch Screen [News]

Intel Unveils New Dual-Core Atom Processors For Mobile Devices [News]

After leaving hints during CES-2013 that it would launch new Atom processors, aimed for mobile devices, Intel has finally unveiled a new series of processors dubbed as Clover Trail+ during the Mobile World Congress 2013. The computer giant announced three new Atom processors: Z2580, Z2560 and Z2520. The chips come with dual-core 2.0 GHz, 1.6 GHz and 1.2 GHz, respectively, plus a GPU of PowerVR SGX 544. That should make processors more competitive than the previous generation, at least with regard to its performance. Even so, they pass the test of using considerable battery.

NVIDIA Shows Tegra 4i, A Processor With Integrating 4G LTE [News]

The NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor was announced recently in January during CES-2013 but the manufacturer now has a new option for consumers. NVIDIA today unveiled at MWC-2013 that they will put a new processor in the market: the Tegra 4i. And despite having a processing clock a little higher, the new chip will be weaker than the model shown last month. The great advantage of the new Tegra 4i is the integration of 4G LTE modem. That's right, with new processors from NVIDIA smartphones can connect to high speed networks to offer more quality performance to consumers. All this with a lower expenditure of energy, because the chip still offers great energy efficiency.
