Download the havdetectiontool.exe file from the link below and then run it.
Now it will display HAV detection results. If you see the following result, that means your PC does not have a HAV capable processor (you will not try it virtually, sorry, but hopefully you can directly install it)
If you see the following result, that means you have a HAV capable processor but if this feature (HAV setting) is not enabled on the processor (in the BIOS). You would need to enable the virtualization setting in the BIOS (click here to learn more)
And if you got the next result then congratulation! You have a HAV capable processor and it’s enabled and now you can run Windows 8 on VirtualBox (Get ready for our next tutorial about how to run it in VirtualBox).
Hopefully my PC has a HAV capable processor. I am going to show you how to try Windows 8 on VirutalBox on my next post.
