I have successfully done it a couple of times. If you want to make a simple bootable Windows XP, and if this method goes unsuccessful, try with UltraISO.

  4. I've bookmarked this post. I couldn't download 2.5 sized Win 8 Preview version. Next month, I may take an unlimited connection of BLion. Then I'll download this gigantic file and try your post. Thanks for recommending me this post. Whatever, may I know which ISP and package you use?
