SlimCleaner Brings Cluttered Files Cleaner, Hijacking Programs Removal & Crowd-Sourced PC Optimization

SlimCleaner is a system tool for Windows which can delete cluttered files, gives crowd-sourced optimization, chops boot and finds/removes hijacking programs for free. This software provides real-time crowd suggestion to optimize your PC and clean traces. To many Windows users, CCleaner is the most favorable to delete junk files and I am also one of them. To get started with SlimCleaner, download the installer package from the link below and start installation. While installing, it will try to try to also download and implement AVG Security Toolbar and AVG Secure Search which are not related with this SlimCleaner product. You can deselect them if want.

Now let’s have a complete look over SlimCleaner interface. The homescreen displays seven main category and each of them has corresponded sub-category. Those categories are listed vertically on the left side. The list includes Cleaner, Optimize, Software, Browsers, Hijack Log, Shredder and Windows Tools. Cleaner tab let’s you analyze all junk folders and files with a single click. You can select which you want to analyze from Windows, Applications, Browsers and Advanced tabs. Select those you want (or leave it as default) and then click on Analyze. This might take a little bit of times. Then you will get analysis result. Click on Clean to delete them.

The Optimize tab rates your current system by analyzing it’s performance. It contains three sub-menu calling Startup (Let’s you optimize startup by removing programs – SlimCleaner also display ratings for each startup event to help you decide which one to delete), Services (Lists and manages background services) and Restore List (Manages restore points created by SlimCleaner).

Software tab lets you uninstalled any software from your Computer. You can also uninstall Windows updates from here.

The Browsers tab allows you to manage your currently installed Internet Browser. SlimCleaner supports Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari. You can remove or restore Extensions and Plugins and can also manage Homepage and default search engine from here.

Hijack Log is one of the best think to note in SlimCleaner. It analyzes Startup Programs, ActiveX classes and Toolbar which hijacks any of your system’s default value. Like if any toolbar changes you default search engine, you can find it and remove it from here.

Shredder let’s you delete any files/folder permanently and left no chance to recover them. SlimCleaner have 4 different shredder level.
