The new interface of Windows 8 is a what people who tested the new OS love and as well as hate. While many loved the clean and modern metro UI, still may others don’t like it because lack of customization options. Like Charms bar is one of the biggest attraction of Windows 8 but Microsoft haven’t added enough options to customize it. During our tests, My WCP CharmBar Customizer worked perfectly. There was no problem with the application crashes or reduced performance of the operating system. Another feature of My WCP CharmBar Customizer that draws attention is you do not need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect at the interface. The result of these changes can be seen immediately after applying the settings. The application will then automatically restart Windows Explorer for instant result.
Since this is a portable tool, you don’t need to install it. Just download it and then double-click on it to open. As of untrusted source, Windows 8 SmartScreen Filter will block the application from running. Just click on More info and then click Run anyway to run the tool.
The interface of My WCP CharmBar Customizer is very simple and easy to understand. On the left side of the window, you can see the icons used in CharmBar. Clicking on them, you can select any icons on your computer replace the default icon. Just below this panel, you can change the colors displayed by the icon when it is active or is clicked. After you've modified all the items and made all changes you want, do not forget to click Apply new settings for the changes to take effect. The cool thing is that there is no need to restart the computer to check out the new look.
If something goes wrong during the configuration of the My WCP CharmBar Customizer or if you are not satisfied with the result and want to revert the changes back, you can quickly restore the default options. Just click on the Restore default settings once and all default settings will be restored.
