Though I am not a Symbian geek (I don’t even have a Symbian Phone!), but I have decided to write about one of the major problems of Symbian Phones and it’s solution because of a lot request. Ok now let me clear something to you before starting. Here I am sharing 4 tips to fix this problem and all of them are collected form internet. None of them are verified by me (How can I without a S60 device!). So try them at your own risk.
If you find and (or none) of them is working, please inform me.
So let’s begun…….

SIS Editor Features:
1. Support edit sis / sisx file with basic information, such as program name, uid, creation time, the program version, the provider name, language, target device, the type of installation and so on.
2. Support for editing sis / sisx file list, including the program components can be edited.
3. Support for new sis / sisx packages. This feature is still in the basic stage, the future will be perfect.
4. Can be sis / sisx package inside the file the following: add, delete,replace, extract, property editor (can be four kinds of operation), up and down, bulk export, etc.

Step 1:
You will see the screen below,follow the instruction on the screen
1.Go to
http://www.symbiansigned.com/app/page/register and register account

2.Enter IMEI number of your phone by keying #06# to view on your phone

3. Follow the instruction on screen




  • Note : Do not close the screen above till you have register the account.

    it will be a little guide through the signing and also controls the Symbian Developer Certificate Request Wizard.
    so the user only have to:
    * create an account on symbiansigned.com
    * only input IMEI to get the *.csr file
    * upload the *.csr file
    * download certificate
    * sign his/her file with signsis-gui
    be sure that the folder name containing the sis file is not to long like:

you can sign your sis-files or verify if they are signed and you can create profiles if you have more than one symbianos9 phone so you can quick make signed files for all phones. it will also save the settings on exit so it starts up with the same - so you only have to select the unsigned sis and push the button.
