
Pixus is a handy tool for web and interface designer. It allows to measure objects in pixels and preview the design instantly. Pixus runs on Adobe Air runtime that means you can have it any where (Windows, Linux and Mac) if Adobe air is installed. This tool has a cool user interface with a penny to pies measurement dimension which will allow you to preview how your design look on a particular device by setting its resolution. This air file includes some common device and app like Internet Explorer 8, Internet Explorer 7, Safari 4 (Mac), Firefox 3 (Mac), Chrome 4 (Mac), iPhone (Both Portrait mode and Landscape Mode), PlayStation Portable and it’s default view. There’s also some pre-added resolutions like PSP, VGA, XGA etc. It shows an accurate scale there. Join us after the break for more info.
The app has a cool Merto like UI with semi-transparent background. It shows two different menu at a time, one is to set up preference and another to show the scale.

There are some cool skins available as we previously said.

You can drag it any where to see the measurement instantly. It show a horizontal line and a vertical line exactly in the middle point.

You can set up options like “Pixus will show on top all time”. You can run it when system starts too.

Usage
Use arrow keys to move the screen, Similarly you can drag and drop it via mouse too.
Press and hold “Shift” and press arrow keys to move it quickly.
To resize the windows, press “Ctrl” + Arrow keys.
Pixus runs on Windows 7, Vista, Mac and Linux with Adobe Air Runtime.
