So have you switched to Windows 8 early? Then you might have missing something. Feeling like something is out of my sight! Hold a sec. This have to be close an app option and Shutting Down/Restarting options. Those options were so available in Windows 7 and now you can’t find them? Wait! Do you really think that Windows have released this developer preview version only to create a bad feelings about their upcoming Windows 8! Don’t even make this thought come to your mind. Those are available. Today I am going to show you only how to manage your PC switch. That means every how to Shut Down your Windows 8 or lock it, how to Log Off or Restart, everything about those.

Logging off and Locking you PC option is available simply in your User Tile. Simply click on this and you will see those options.

Then what happened to Shut Down or Restart or Sleep mode. Those options are not available there. But you can get them just by moving your mouse to start button into the left-bottom side. You can do it from anywhere like from Desktop or from Metro Start Menu. A new slide up menu will appear with 5 options. Select “Settings” from there and you will see the right sidebar then.

Click on the Power button from there and you will see other missing buttons.

You can also use the classic Power Control dialog like Windows XP via Alt+F4 keyboard shortcut. But please make sure that app apps are closed or inactive before using this.
