Arc Journal Lite is a kind of image editor that allows you to create different notes and make photo groups. You can write on the screen with your finger, organize pictures and even risking a few simple designs that can then be shared on your favorite social networks. Arc Journal Lite app is a combination of drawing and notes for Android in which you can unleash your imagination playing notes or beautiful picture. The editor has a lot of brushes, colors, and positioning possibilities when it comes to photos. Also, everything can be shared on your favorite social networks. The interface is pretty nice, placing all the tools at the top of the screen. That way, you get much of the drawing sheet clear. Still, the app uses widely Multitouch technology to resize elements and even to adjust the zoom. You can share your works in the social network of your choice by pressing a button or relate them to a Google calendar event. These possibilities significantly improve the integration of Arc Journal Lite, since you can create reminders for events on your calendar, for example.
During our test on a Samsung Galaxy SII, the brushes were not very accurate at the time of writing or drawing, creating crooked lines and partially blurred. However, as demonstrated by the video's own developer, the accuracy varies between two different devices. Even so, it would be a great idea if the app would allow a control of "sensitivity" or something similar to improve the experience. For now, an option to lessen the problem is increasing the size of the brush, which allows you to create lines thicker and less sensitive to the imprecise touch screen.
In the Lite version of Arc Journal, an advertisement banner appears in the lower right corner of the screen which covers one of the options of the interface. This prevented testing the functionality blocked and should be considered as a serious mistake, because although the option may not be critical for the use of the program, poor positioning of advertising creates a very annoying limitation of usability. We also had another problem with the functionality that allows a drawing to relate an event in Google calendar. The feature did not work in our test, displaying an error message that simply states to "try again later",

In summary, Arc Journal Lite is a fantastic idea. Mix an image editor with a notebook open space for many interesting possibilities. You can create a beautiful collage with your favorite pictures or just make a note and associate it in your diary. Despite some technical problems, Journal Arc Lite promises, mainly for their low level of maturity, which indicates that new features and corrections should be on the way.
Arc Journal Lite is a pretty nice application to work as a personal diary with handwriting support for Android. It work on Android 2.2 or later and is available for free on Google Play.
