Since Google launched the Galaxy Nexus smartphone (in partnership with Samsung), it was hoped that a tablet will also come from Nexus series. And the wait ended yesterday (27th June) when Google took the stage of the conference of Google I/O 2012 to unveil the new device: Nexus 7 . And, apparently, it has to displace all competitors who are already on the market. The reasons that make us think that? For starters, it will go on sale for prices starting at $199 (one of the cheapest on the market) and have the hardware resources that can leave any gamer with his mouth open, one of the strongest today. Some of the top of Google apps are available for the Nexus 7 tablet. The main one is the Google Chrome browser for Android, which now have reached the final and stable version, able to offer much more speed in loading web pages. Gmail has also been improved, ensuring better use in offline modes.  Another app that has changed is the Google+, which now has won a version specially designed for tablets - and will have full integration with the Nexus 7. Finally, the best is guaranteed view of YouTube in HD resolutions for uploading videos and also better search interface and settings.

According to Google, all the Nexus 7 was created to use the very best of Google Play Store. This means that the tablet will have direct access to various contents of the official store of amazing contents. In addition to the traditional e-books, games and apps, now there are also movies, magazines and series available.


To bring the Nexus 7 tablet to consumers, Google has partnered with the ASUS and NVIDIA, and the resources offered by the device are very promising. At least in the first moments, the tablet is only being pre-sold by the Google Play Store. The Nexus 7 will be available from mid-July in the U.S. market, Canada, Australia and the UK.
