In the following steps, we will show you how easy it is to use Windows Memory Diagnostic.
- Go to Control Panel first and the click on System and Security.
- From the next window, click on Administrative Tools.
- Then find out Windows Memory Diagnostic from the listed icons and open it.
- Once opened, Two new options will appear in the dialog box. One is Restart now and check for problems which will restart your PC and then run Memory Diagnosis automatically and the other is Check for problems the next time I start the computer which checks problems during your next boot.
The test will take 5 minutes to half hour depending on your system health. As it runs before the system is started, so your PC will remain unresponsive during the process. It is recommended to leave your PC until the process is finished.
