To get started, download and install CollageIt first. Once install, run the tool. You will be asked to choose the base template for your image collages. Select a template to work on and then click on Choose.
From the next window, click on Add to select images for making image collages. Or you can just drag and drop desired images on Photo List filed to add them. In Setup portion, there are two options: Page Setup and Background. At first, set the page orientation (horizontal or vertical) and the desired sheet size - default is A4- from Page Setup. In Background, choose whether the collage background is filled with a solid color (Color Fill) or image (Image).
In Photo Count, you can choose to Use all photos or select only a maximum number of them. Space defines the distance between images, as Margin increases or decreases the size of the margin leaf. Auto Rotate provides an angle of rotation for images, if they set to rotate. Auto Sparse increases the minimum distance between photos. Enable Shadow makes shadows appear behind each image, while Enable Frame frames the photos or leave them stuck together when disabled. To change images position in the collage, click on Shuffle. Keep clicking on that button until you get the best orientation.
Once everything is done, click on Export. You will be able to save the collage in different formats as well as directly mail it from here. You can also send the collage to Facebook or Flick or use it as wallpaper from here.
