Surprising much for the people is that, the company revealed the launch of four new models of the processor during it’s presentation, baptized as 200, 400, 600 and 800. According to the developer, the Snapdragon 600 will have a 40% better performance than that offered by the model S4 Pro. All this thanks to changes in quad-core Krait Chip and Adreno 320 GPU which made them even more efficient and economical than their current versions - the first devices equipped with the processor should be launched in the second quarter of 2013.

Another processor presented, Snapdragon 800 promises to deliver a capacity of 75% faster processing speed, and has twice the capacity of the best currently available graphics chip from Qualcomm. This is due to the presence of quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 chip, followed by an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit.

According to the company, the new LTE modem will accompany a extremely fast Cat 4 and 802.11 ac Wi-Fi with enhanced capabilities. The processor will also allow video recording in QFHD quality, and enables the development of devices with maximum resolution of 2560x2048 pixels - the promise of the company is that many smartphones will get fully leverage the capabilities of the new chip, which should make its debut in half.

Qualcomm says that there are already 50 different devices which are working with the Snapdragon 600 and 800. The company expects to achieve similar or even bigger levels of success than that obtained by the Snapdragon S4, which won the preference of many manufacturers of portable devices in 2012.
