Last year, Sony tried to please all tastes and introduced 12 different models of compact cameras. This time, at CES 2013, the company decided to simplify updating its Cyber-shot series with 5 different options of new Camera: WX80, W730, W710, H200 and TF1. According to the company, the idea is to focus more on quality and less on quantity, so all new cameras feature high performance capabilities, but bringing in a more affordable price for consumers of different layers. Each of the cameras has different attributes. Check out a little details of each:
Cyber-shot WX80
The Cyber-shot WX80 provides a resolution of 16.2 megapixels in photographs and is able to record videos in 1080p. The camera also features 8x optical zoom and up to 16x digital zoom. The device brings the Optical SteadyShot technology, which reduces the blurriness of the images.
The highlight of the model, however, is on account of the presence of Wi-Fi connectivity, which allows you to share videos and photos directly with other computers and smartphones over Wi-Fi. The WX80 should cost the consumer $199 and will have the options of red, black and white colors.
Cyber-shot TF1
TF1 is capable of recording video in 720p and takes pictures with a resolution of 16.1 megapixels. The camera features 4x optical zoom. The shape of it’s body is a little different from other ultra-compact cameras, bringing a more solid construction and better buttons located.
Another highlight of the construction of the camera is on account of the fact that it is completely waterproof and can be submerged up to 10 feet deep. It is also resistant to shock and freezing. TF1 will hit stores in black, orange, and pink colors, costing $199.
Cyber-shot H200
The highlight of the Cyber-shot H200 is on account of it’s body, much like a DSLR camera. The model also features leave nothing to be desired, as it is capable of recording videos in 720p and has 26x optical zoom. The images captured by the camera is up to 20.1 megapixels and it has a 3 inch LCD display. Only in black, the Cyber-shot H200 will cost $249.
Cyber-Shot W730 and W710
The last two models launched are the Cyber-shot W730 and W710. The two devices are the simplest of the new cameras and bring images with a resolution of up to 16.1 megapixels and the ability to record videos with 720p. The difference here is in the optical zoom: the W730 is able to bring up to 8 times, while the W710 is capable of 5x.
The cameras arrive on shelves in the purple (which looks more like a dark blue), silver and pink colors. The Cyber-shot W730 should come out for $139 and W710 for $99.
