To get started with AOMEI Data Backuper, simply download and install it first. Once installed, run it from the shortcut or the start menu. The home window of AOMEI Data Backuper will then be displayed with sidebar menu on the left panel. On the Home tab, you will be able see all your backups listed.

To create a backup, simply go to the Backup tab. Here you will be able to backup a single partition, system partition or even a whole disk.

To restore the backups, head over to Restore tab and select the specific backup you want to restore.

From the Settings window, you will be able to change compression ratio between None, Normal and High. Note that the higher the compression ratio, the more time it will take to complete backup as well as to restore from backup too. You can also activate or deactivate VSS services from here.
