Launched in June of last year, the MediaPad was the first tablet in the world to come to Market with Android 3.2 (Honeycomb). Now, during the CES 2012 Huawei announced that the product will also be one of the first electronic devices to adopt Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). If everything goes as expected, the MediaPad aims to come by anytime during first quarter of 2012 and will be available in three different colors: black (shadow black), brown (brown classic) and pink (pink passion). The tablet features high quality display with screen resolution of 1280x800 pixels and support for Full HD (1080p), a Qualcomm dual-core 1.2 GHz Processor and battery with a capacity for 6 or more hours of use.

AT&T announced yesterday during CES 2012 the launch of the Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD, a turbocharged version of one of the best selling handsets from Samsung. This device comes into the field while the Samsung Galaxy S III is surrounded only by rumors and new competitors in the smartphone business appears on the piece. The new device is larger, slimmer and more powerful than its older version. The screen size of the Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD is just like the Galaxy Nexus, the smartphone with “Pure” Google Android and Samsung. There is still no information if the device will receive update of Android Ice Cream Sandwich, or its predecessor with the ability to upgrade.
