RoundIt image editor is a simple but very useful photo tool for batch image editing. It adds edges and rounded corners on photos in batch mode to multiple images simultaneously. Although comparing with our previously featured image editor tools like PhotoScape, XnView, PixBuilder, FotoSketcher, Fotosizer, HeliosPaint, IMGDissolver or SharpShot, RoundIt is nothing having only two options, one to create round edge and another to add border. But it is good at what it does, fulfills all its functions satisfactorily. RoundIt is easy to use and totally free. If you are looking for a program which has only the function of creating rounded corners and edges. This is an awesome program, fast and very simple to use.
It is very easy and quick to use it, and you can only edit a photo or several at once. Before you click Select File or Folder, choose Single File or Batch Mode. The first option allows you to open an image at a time, and the second shows the folders on your computer. When you select a directory, the RoundIt opens all the photos that exist on it.
The border options are quite simple, you choose the radius of the curve (the higher the number, the more visible is the curvature) and the background color first. Then, if you want a border color, select the "Single Line" and choose the color and border width.
To save, you need to go to the menu File> Save and choose the location where you want the images to be saved. Take care not to overwrite and lose the original! Warning: If you chose the transparent background, make sure that files are saved in PNG, since JPG format is not able to save this information.
